"Moira Shaughnessy is a leadership coach who currently works for the US Department of Veterans Affairs. She manages leadership development programs for aspiring leaders and additionally serves as a coach and instructor. Moira offers trainings in topics such emotional intelligence, career development, psychological safety, and conflict management. Moira began her federal career as a training specialist in 1999 at the Patent and Trademark Office before moving to the Department of the Interior (DOI) in Washington DC in 2003. At DOI Moira served as an online training specialist, an instructional systems designer and later as a performance consultant, assessing workforce training needs, developing curriculum, and advising offices across the organization on workforce development best practices. Moira holds a B.A. in Psychology from Franklin and Marshall College and an M.A. in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Francisco State University. She She currently resides in Kensington, MD with her 12-year daughter, Gabrielle."
